…and this is my first wild crochet experiment: it ended up sooo curly! I arranged it in a way to suggest a flower; I must say that crochet is fun. I took up crocheting after a long time, I know just the basic stitches, however I am keen to carry on and try new things!
I think that I will take some yarns and stitch on top in certain areas to add some surface pattern. A few days ago I scanned this photo and did some digital manipulation; the image was intriguing, so I copied and pasted it on the shoes template to create a pair of canvas women mini slip on shoes, cute! I love beautiful, opulent, refined, and outrageously chic settings, places and milieux! Among my most weird dreams is to live, yes, live, in a perfume boutique, with all those beautifully arranged and packaged perfumes, ribbons, boxes, labels, sheets of paper to wrap perfumes. The air filled with an intoxicating waft of wonderful fragrances. I remember I had this bizarre thought for the first time when I was a teenager looking through the shop window of a compact, but beautiful parfumerie in Bassano, in Northern Italy. It was late in the evening and the lane was pretty dark, in contrast with this elegant shop, that was like a sparkling jewel case.
I have started playing around with some yarn and crochet, just for fun and to do something completely unrelated to computer work. I am starting to think it is turning into an addiction, just like when I was at University and I took up knitting and ended up covering the wall in front of my desk area with loads of knitted samples, many with bizarre patterns and choice of colours. My tutor looked on pleased, little did she know….
because clouds are beautiful, ever changing, especially the white fluffy ones. I envy birds because they can fly away from everything if they wish to do so, and they can build countless nests wherever they like. I’d better log onto the site of the clouds appreciation society to be inspired, for anyone out there stumbling on my weblog, here is the link, fascinating and beautiful:
